Enrolment Terms and Conditions
Payment Terms
A non-refundable deposit equal to one (1) session fee is payable at the time of booking. Places will not be held without payment of this deposit.
Remaining term fees (less the deposit amount) will be charged in two (2) instalments throughout the term. These instalments will be charged to the same payment method used for the deposit and are payable in Week 1 and Week 5 of the term.
Late fees of 20% of the instalment amount will apply to payments over two (2) weeks overdue.
Sessions will continue for the duration of the school term. If a parent decides to withdraw their child within the term, they are still responsible for paying the full term fee.
We will only provide you with a refund of the fees paid if we are unable to continue to provide the services to you, or if we determine that it is reasonable to do so.
You acknowledge and agree that we may increase the fees from time to time at our discretion.
Payment Method Authorisation
By booking a tutoring session with Bloom Learning Studio, you authorise Bloom Learning Studio to charge the payment method provided at the time of booking for all applicable fees associated with your child’s enrolment.
This includes:
the non-refundable enrolment deposit charged at the time of booking; and
the remaining tuition fees, which will be charged in two instalments on the scheduled billing dates for the term (week 1 and week 5).
These instalments will be automatically charged to the same payment method used for the deposit, unless an alternative payment method is arranged in writing prior to the billing date.
Group Allocation
Small Group session bookings are provisional. While families select a preferred day and time at booking, final group placements are confirmed after enrolments are reviewed to ensure optimal grouping based on students’ learning needs, interests and group dynamics.
In some cases, Bloom Learning Studio may recommend an alternative session time to better support your child’s learning. If a suitable placement cannot be confirmed and no appropriate alternative is accepted, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.
Re-enrolment
Confirmation of registration for the following term is required by the last week of the current term. A new booking will be made, with a new non-refundable $100 paid to secure the place.
Make-up sessions
We will need a minimum of 8 hours notice if your child is not able to attend their weekly session. If we are given enough notice we will make every effort to offer an alternative time within 14 days from their date of absence. If this is not possible, the full fee for the session/s will be charged. Notice of absence can be given via phone call or text - 0494 637 984. If we do not receive notification or notice is given less than 8 hours before your child/ren’s scheduled session/s, the full fee for the session/s will be charged.
Attendance
All Bloom learners are required to attend their weekly sessions for the term, unless a session is rearranged for a time that is convenient to both the tutor and the parent/guardian. Our timetable will run according to the agreed schedule. Any changes to the timetable will be communicated to parents/guardians in advance.
It is important for all of our learners to attend their weekly sessions in order to get the maximum benefit from our cumulative approach. If our students miss consecutive sessions it is likely they will fall out of rhythm with their intended learning pathway. It is also important that children attending group sessions all receive the same amount of tutoring time to ensure they do not fall behind in consolidation of concepts. Due to the high demand for our specialised services, we want to be able to provide the best outcomes for all of our enrolled students.
Drop Off & Pick Up
We ask our families to please arrive 5 minutes before your child/ren’s session commences.
Our Bloom learners must be ready to begin sessions on time. NO extra time will be given at the end of a session if a student is late. We have specifically designed our waiting area to be a place to regulate nervous systems before beginning sessions. This helps to ensure a smooth and successful transition to learning. We will collect and return all learners to our waiting area. We ask that you collect your child promptly to avoid congestion.
If a parent/guardian is running 5 or more minutes late to pick up their child/ren, please send a text message so that we can organise appropriate supervision until your arrival. We understand that these things can happen from time to time and we appreciate your consideration when/if this situation occurs.
Toileting & Bathroom Access
All students that attend Bloom Learning Studio sessions must be toilet trained. We understand that sometimes accidents happen and we encourage all of our students to ask at any time to use the toilet as they need. To limit disruptions to sessions, we strongly encourage you to take your child/ren to the bathroom before their session. There is toilet access on both the Ground floor and Level 4 for our families to use.
Photography Permission
We may take photos or videos during sessions for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your child to be included in such materials, please notify us in writing or select ‘no’ on the Student Intake Form at the time of booking.
Responsibility & Accountability
The parent/guardian acknowledges that Bloom Learning Studio is not accountable or responsible for the academic success or lack thereof of the student.
The parent/guardian accordingly waives any and all claims arising out of enrolment. We are not liable for any costs incurred by you as a result of any guidance, advice, coaching, material or techniques used by us.
The parent/guardian acknowledges that all materials and resources created by Bloom Learning Studio and used during sessions or distributed to families remain the copyright of Bloom Learning Studio and agrees not to publish or distribute any portion of any materials created by Bloom Learning Studio.
The parent/guardian acknowledges that it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to inform the Centre Director/s and/or the tutor of any health concerns/allergies relating to the student prior to the beginning of the first session.
